Republic Day celebration in Innocent Hearts

Jalandhar, January 25, 2022: The students of the five schools of Innocent Hearts, Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt. - Jandiala Road, Nurpur Road, Kapurthala Road celebrated Republic Day with full zeal and enthusiasm themed ‘Mera Bharat Meri Shaan'.  Virtual activities were organized for the students.  Young children sang patriotic poems and shared their pictures dressed in tricolour clothes on the official Facebook page of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions.  Apart from this, children wrote very beautiful slogans on Republic Day in the slogan writing competition. 
The NSS unit of Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar celebrated virtual Republic day for reviving the spirit of nationalism and for paying tribute to the martyrs who had sacrificed their lives to behold the face of free Mother India. A patriotic solo singing competition was organized on the theme of ‘Rich Cultural Heritage of India’ in which Nandini achieved first prize. Sakshi Thakur danced very gracefully on the song beats of 'Ae Watan, Mere Watan’, she bagged the first prize in the Patriotic dance competition.
 The teachers explained the importance of Republic Day to the children during the online classes and motivated them to follow the duties mentioned in the constitution so that they can become responsible citizens.  They explained to them that every student should respect the National Flag and make every possible contribution to the development of the country.
