Republic Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Innocent Hearts: The Campus Drenched in the Colours of Patriotism
Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, zeal, and patriotic fervour at all five schools of the Innocent Hearts Group—Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt–Jandiala Road, and Kapurthala Road—along with Innocent Hearts Group of Education and Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions. Students observed the day with immense excitement under the themes “Mantra of Freedom – Vande Mataram” and “Mantra of Prosperity – Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
Jalandhar, January 24, 2026: Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, zeal, and patriotic fervour at all five schools of the Innocent Hearts Group—Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt–Jandiala Road, and Kapurthala Road—along with Innocent Hearts Group of Education and Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions. Students observed the day with immense excitement under the themes “Mantra of Freedom – Vande Mataram” and “Mantra of Prosperity – Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
The entire school campus was beautifully decorated in the tricolour of the national flag. During the special morning assembly, students were made aware of the history and significance of Republic Day. They were informed that this day symbolizes the adoption of the Constitution of India and the declaration of India as a sovereign, democratic republic. It was also emphasized that this freedom is the result of the relentless struggles and sacrifices of great national leaders.
On this auspicious occasion, students presented a variety of patriotic cultural programmes that filled the atmosphere with national pride. Speeches, patriotic songs, role plays, and poems were performed by the students. An inter-house speech competition on the theme “Glory of the Republic: Our India, Our Constitution, Our Resolve” was also organized. The IT Club presented a PowerPoint presentation highlighting India’s rich culture, heritage, and the vision of a golden India. Students also mesmerized the audience with patriotic dance performances.
The pre-primary students looked extremely charming dressed in outfits representing the colours of the national flag. These young learners were shown a PPT related to Indian culture, through which they were introduced to India’s diversity and traditions. In classrooms, teachers explained the importance of respecting the national flag and encouraged students to contribute in every possible way towards the development of the nation. Students were motivated to perform their duties responsibly towards the country.
Republic Day was also celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions. The celebrations reflected deep respect for India’s democratic values and national pride. Students actively participated in speeches, poetry recitations, solo singing, and creative competitions, showcasing both their talent and love for the nation. Topics such as Atmanirbhar Bharat and the importance of voting rights were highlighted in the speeches, inspiring students to understand their role in strengthening democracy.
