Real Wife dresses Shahwar Ali for his Reel Wedding!

It’s not very often that a man gets his wife to happily dress him up and get him married to another woman. But this is the quirky world of soap operas and anything is possible! And this moment was lately witnessed on the sets of Zee TV’s weekend show Amma. For an upcoming wedding sequence to Zeenat (played by Urvashi Sharma) in the show, supermodel-turned-actor Shahwar Ali got his real wife Marsela Ayesha to make his reel wedding look perfect!

Not only was Marsela a part of all her hubby’s reel wedding rituals, but she even helped Shahwar in selecting his wedding outfit. Even though Marsela clearly had a great time on the sets watching her husband’s on-screen wedding, it was the crew members, who kept pulling her leg about being the only woman to be so happy at her own husband’s shaadi to another woman.

Shahwar shared, “It was fun shooting my onscreen wedding and having my own wife presents on the sets was definitely an icing on the cake. Marsela enjoyed every bit of it. She herself paid attention to the minutest details, and even helped me in the selection process of my wedding sherwani. At my own wedding too, I’d gone through similar rituals, so the two of us felt quite nostalgic. We relived those precious moments of exchanging our wedding vows.”

Elated , Marsela added, “ I was extremely thrilled to be a part of my husband’s on-screen wedding. Going out shopping for his wedding attire brought back memories of the time we’d actually gone out shopping for our wedding clothes. Shahwar is looking dapper in his wedding attire in the show just like he did at our wedding. I will cherish this particular shoot for years to come. I witnessed all the wedding rituals and had a great time. In no time, I was able to develop that special connection with everyone on the sets.”
