Jalandhar, July 12, 2013: Commuters are facing difficulties because of stagnant rain water at Lamba Pind Chowk even after over 30 hours of showers.
What to speak of pedestrians and two-wheelers even people driving four wheelers are facing the problem (see the related photograph, which itself is self-explanatory).
Even sewerage of the area is getting choked, which is further aggravating the problem, said one of the area residents Sat Paul. He has urged upon the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation authorities to look into the problem and get it sorted at the earliest possible time in the larger interest of public.
