Chandigarh, September 15, 2015: The Punjab Government has constituted a high level committee for the maintenance of historic Maharaja Dalip Singh Memorial, popularly known as Bassian Kothi.
An official spokesman said that Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana has been nominated as Chairman of the committee and SDM Raikot as member secretary. He said that tax and excise commissioner, director horticulture, Mr. Ranjit Singh Talwandi Ex-MLA and President Maharaja Dalip Singh memorial charitable trust Kothi Bassian or his representative would be the members of the said committee.
