Chandigarh, April 1, 2026: The University Business School (UBS), Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, organised a farewell ceremony for its postgraduate batch of 2026 under the chairpersonship of Prof. Parmjit Kaur at the Law Auditorium, PU.
Prof. Parmjit Kaur, Chairperson, UBS, welcomed the Chief Guest Prof. Y.K. Rawal, Dean Student Welfare, PU, Guests of Honour Anurag Aggarwal, Director, Learning Paths School, and Saurabh Agnihotri, Managing Director, AC Group of Schools, along with faculty members, research scholars, and students. 
Prof. Paramjit Kaur congratulated the outgoing MBA and M.Com. (Hons.) batch of 2026 and described the occasion as a milestone reflecting growth, resilience, and transformation. She advised students to uphold the values imbibed at UBS, use technology responsibly, prioritise well-being, and remain committed to hard work and integrity.
Prof. Y.K. Rawal motivated students to maintain a balance between personal and professional life, emphasising dedication, discipline, and perseverance as key to sustained success.
Anurag Aggarwal highlighted the importance of effective time management, continuous skill development, and regularly updating professional profiles to remain relevant in a dynamic environment.
Saurabh Agnihotri, an alumnus of UBS (Batch 2006), reflected on his association with the institution and encouraged students to embrace challenges in the professional world with resilience. He highlighted the role of faculty as lifelong mentors and emphasised the value of alumni networks in career advancement.
Mementos were presented to the students of MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (EP), MBA (HR), MBA Executive, and M.Com. (Hons.) batch 2024–2026. The event also featured cultural performances by students.
The programme earlier commenced with the PU Anthem, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
