PU Lecturer Bags International Young Scientist Award

Chandigarh, November 24, 2016: Senior Lecturer at Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Dr.Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Dr.Devinder Preet Singh has been selected for the Young Scientist Award category of the coveted AUFAU International Awards 2016.
The award is conferred on those scientists, from all over the world, who proved their mettle in scientific research in their respective fields. Scientists and researchers from various fields of science, both basic as well as clinical, are eligible to apply from all over the globe.
The award will be bestowed on him during the “2nd Aufau International Award Ceremony”, to be held in India in Hotel Silver Palace, Salem on December 4, 2016.
With this Dr. Devinder Preet Singh will become the first dentist from the country to receive the prestigious award. He was chosen to receive the award on the recommendations of the expert committee comprising of a panel of distinguished national and international judges.
Dr. Singh has thanked the authorities of the Dental Institute and the University for their support and encouragement in providing a congenial environment for research in his field.
