PU ICSVS to organise Seminar Talk on Nov 4

Chandigarh November 3, 2015: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Interdisciplinary Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies (ICSVS) would organise a Seminar Talk on November 4 at 3.15 PM at Guru Tegh Bahadur Bhawan, First Floor, ICSVS, PU.

Coordinator of ICSVS and PU Fellow Prof Nandita Singh informed that former Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Karnataka and noted Author; Speaker Sh. Jai Gopal Arora would speak on the topic of “Gita for Success & Happiness”. Sh. Jai Gopal Arora is a

practicing advocate in Mumbai High Court. He joined Indian Revenue Service (I.R.S.) in 1967, and after serving in various capacities in Income Tax Department in various States, he retired as the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Karnataka. After his

retirement from Income Tax Department, he has written many articles on important national issues, and also on Bhagavad Gita which has been published in daily newspapers and other publications; and has been very well received by the readers. He is interested in academics; and has delivered a number of lectures on various subjects in various institutions and forums. For the last many years, he has done a deep study of Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and other related texts. He wants to spread Bhagavad Gita’s message of success, bliss, prosperity and happiness all over India. For this purpose, he has been travelling to various places in India to deliver lectures on Gita in English / Hindi./ (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
