Chandigarh, July 9, 2022: Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted the PU CET (UG) Entrance Test – 2022 today for admission to undergraduate courses. Total seventeen centres were created, twelve at Chandigarh, three at Hoshiarpur, and one each at Ludhiana and Sri Muktsar Sahib.
The detailed percentage and total number of candidates appeared in this entrance test subject wise was as under:-
Mathematics : 85.75% (2642 out of 3081)
Chemistry : 87% (5186 out of 5961)
Physics : 87.02% (5187 out of 5961)
Biology : 87.75% (2909 out of 3315)
Total 86.93% (15924 out of 18318) candidates appeared in the test. Flying squad and observers were deputed to every centre for routine checking and smooth conduct of the test. The test was conducted satisfactorily and no untoward incident was reported from any of the examination centres.
