Chandigarh, May 29, 2016: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has announced the tentative admission schedule for admission to B.A/B.Com. LL.B (Hons.) 5 years Integrated Course at University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS)- PU, UILS Hoshiarpur and UIL Ludhiana.
PU spokesman informed that the qualifying candidates of entrance exam (UGLAW) of 2016 should submit the online admission form at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in/. The qualifying candidates can submit the online admission form upto June 15. The students have been asked to submit hard/printed copy of admission form & documents to Director, UILS, PU, Chandigarh – 160014 before June 25 till 4 PM.
The candidates applying under Sports Category have been asked to send one hard copy of the Admission Form complete in all respects with original Affidavit for sportspersons category to the office of Director of Sports, PU, Chandigarh. The photocopy of the proforma should be attached with the Admission Form submitted to Director, UILS, PU, Chandigarh.
Apart from foreign nationals/NRIs, there are 120 seats each in B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) 5 years integrated course and B.Com LL.B.(Hons.) 5 years integrated course at UILS PU Campus. There are 87 seats of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) 5 year integrated course at UILS, PU Regional Centre, Ludhiana. There are 60 open seats in B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) at UILS, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU Regional Centre Hoshiarpur.
The admissions for the B.A/B.Com. LL.B (Hons.) would be based on entrance test and the marks in Qualifying Examination (+2). For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) 5 years Integrated ourse, the Qualifying Examination (+2) and PU - CET (U.G.) Entrance Test would each carry 50 percent weightage.
Candidate has to submit hardcopy of the Admission Form alongwith the self-attested copies of the Detailed Marks Card(DMC) of Class 10th and the Date of Birth certificate, 10+2 DMC, alongwith various other documents.
