Jalandhar, March 31, 2015: Harmeen Soch, Associate Professor in the area of Marketing and Director Incharge at Punjab Institute of Management, the main campus of Punjab Technical University has been awarded the 2014 Highly Commended Paper Award for her joint work with Dr Harsandaldeep Kaur, Assistant Professor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
This prestigious award has been bestowed on them for outstanding and path breaking research work by the Emerald Literati Network, Emerald Publishing for their joint paper entitled, “Mediating Roles of Commitment and Corporate Image in the Formation of Customer Loyalty” published in the Journal of Indian Business Research (JIBR) an Emerald Publication.
Dr. Soch, has over 16 years of experience in teaching and research. Prior to this, she has worked at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She is widely travelled and has presented research papers at top conferences in USA and Canada. An FDP from IIM, Ahmedabad, she has participated in a number of advanced research and statistical courses like Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and Dynamic Modelling at Kansas University, University of Connecticut and Duke University in USA.
Dr. Soch has been awarded major and minor research projects by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is currently involved in a number of joint research projects in India as well as USA.
