Jalandhar, March 12, 2015: The Annual Sports Day for kindergarten was held in Cambridge International School for Girls with an aim to help in developing the kinesthetic skill like special intelligence, logistic intelligence and intra structural potentialities of the students on March 11, where the students from kindergarten showcased their unity, understanding and will power in various forms of sports activities. The event commenced with the Obstacle race, ball collecting race, simple race. The enthusiastic and energetic students, with dreams in their eyes and fire in their bellies, participated in many events like, sack race and three legged race.
"We let children go play in the sandpit and run through the stream and get their shoes dirty and get grass stains on their knees,” the toddlers from sparkling stars also participated ardently in crawling race and tuck the ball.
After completion of the athletic events, proud winners were honoured with medals and certificates. The little sports stars with shining bright faces gained appreciation and thunderous applause from one and all. Executive Director J K Kohli, Principal Deepa Dogra, Vice Principal Preeti Sharma, Sports Co-ordinator A.S.Sikand , HOD Harpreet Kaur and the coordinator’s appreciated the efforts made by the students and emphasised the importance of sports activities needed by the students.
