Chandigarh, January 3, 2013: The Punjab Government has promoted Information and Public Relations Officer Uma Sharma as Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations.
Informing this here today a spokesperson of the department said that she had joined her new assignment after receiving the promotion orders.
It may be recalled here that Uma had been elevated as IPRO from APRO in 1997, said the spokesperson.
