Jalandhar, October 16, 2025: Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Dean Academic Council and Head of the Postgraduate Department of Economics, has taken over as the Officiating Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.
Prof. Navdeep Kaur is a well-known academician, particularly recognized in the educational circles of North India. In addition to her distinguished teaching career, she has held several important administrative positions and contributed significantly to academic development.
Balbir Kaur, President, Governing Council, and Deepinder Singh Purewal, Vice President, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Navdeep Kaur on assuming the new responsibility.
Expressing gratitude, Prof. Navdeep Kaur thanked Balbir Kaur and the Governing Council for their trust and confidence. She remarked that Lyallpur Khalsa College is one of the premier institutions of North India, and maintaining its legacy of excellence is a collective responsibility. She reaffirmed her commitment to work tirelessly for the holistic development of the college with the cooperation of faculty and students.
Prof. Kaur further stated that to ensure a brighter future for students, new and contemporary courses will be introduced alongside traditional programs, aligning education with modern-day requirements.
The occasion was attended by heads of various departments, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students of the college.
