Jalandhar, February 26, 2015: Prarambhika-2015, is an exhibition of the art works of Kashish, the youngest artist of Punjab and an ardent devotee of Ganpati. The Art Exhibition is going to be held at Satya Paul Art Gallery, Virsa Vihar, Jalandhar from February 19 to February 22. The exhibition was inaugurated by Deepa Dogra, the Academic Director of Cambridge International Schools. Principal Cambridge International School, Kiranjoth Dhillon, Principal Cambridge Foundation School, Meenu Huria and Vice- Principal Cambridge International School for Girls, Preeti Sharma also graced the occasion. They appreciated Kashish's creations in various art forms and wished him luck for success in future.

Kashish realised his love for Ganpati at the early age of three. For the last fourteen years he has been exploring different forms of Ganpati. To him art is the essence of life. Painting and sketching is a passion with him. He is always found painting or sketching but he doesn't ignore his academics. He is a student of Grade XI at Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari, Jalandhar.   Being a self-taught artist, he is original and unique. He has done a series of around two-hundred and fifty paintings on the magnificent Udaipur and has been honoured with numerous awards for his relentless works. Prarambhika 2015 is going to be his first solo exhibition.

 Though he has been working almost for about 14 years now but Prarambhika is a collection, precisely of his work over the last five years particularly.  Stories of Ganpati fill his imagination and  tickle his thoughts till he gives them a form. He feels the presence of omniscient Ganpati in every object, so, his his art work reflects Ganpati in different forms, styles, shapes, textures, colors, etc. He has used almost all mediums and on every possible base. The exhibition includes sculptures, paintings, murals, wall hangings, sketches and much more. Out of his countless art works depicting Lord Ganpati this exhibition will showcase a few hundreds of the chosen ones.

Besides the Exhibition the young artist is going to conduct a Workshop from 4pm onwards on Lord Ganpati on Februaury 20, 2015 and on Udaipur on February 21, 2015. The star attraction is the live painting performance by the artist on February 22, 2015 at 4 p.m.
