Plantation campaign started in DIPS College under NSS

Jalandhar, September 25, 2023: Plantation campaign under NSS was started in Dips College (Co-Educational) Dhilwan to protect the environment.This campaign was completed under the supervision of Professor Manjit Singh. During the campaign, apart from telling the benefits of plantation, the students were also informed about the responsibility of taking care of them. The students and teachers together planted trees of neem, mango, guava, amla etc. in and around the college premises.

Professor Manjeet Singh told that by controlling air pollution, trees reduce harmful gases from the environment and help in maintaining the temperature. Plants are very important not only for humans but also for animals and birds. 

College Coordinator Harpreet Kaur while addressing the students said that today we have progressed so much in the technological era that we are harming our environment badly, which is very harmful for the human generation, so it is necessary that we live in time. Necessary steps were taken for this. Along with making the students aware, he also inspired the people around him to make him aware.
