Pedal for Health: A Ride towards Wellness and Environmental Renewal

Ludhiana, October 28, 2023: In response to increasing concerns over sedentary lifestyles and the urgent need for environmental sustainability, the PCTE Travel Club and Travel & Tourism Department proudly present their groundbreaking initiative, "Pedal for Health." This transformative movement is not merely about physical fitness; it's a call to action for a healthier planet through the simple yet powerful act of cycling.

Pedal for Health, a collaborative effort between the PCTE Travel Club and the Travel & Tourism Department, represents a beacon of hope in our quest for healthier living and ecological responsibility. At its core, this initiative empowers individuals to take charge of their well-being while contributing to a more sustainable world. A total of 58 participants, including 40 students and 18 faculty members, embarked on a 13-kilometer ride, forging new bonds and sharing a common purpose.

The participants pedaled their way to improved cardiovascular health, strengthened muscles, and a greater sense of vitality. The positive impact of regular cycling on physical and mental well-being cannot be overstated.

Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General of PCTE Group of Institutes, beautifully sums up the initiative, stating, “ I take immense pride in organizing this initiative for the third consecutive year. Pedal for Health is not just about riding a bike; it's about taking control of our health and making a positive impact on our environment. It's a win-win for individuals and the planet."
