Ludhiana, August 29, 2023: PCTE Group of Institutes is excited to share that we have opened our doors to students and faculty from seven more countries—Germany, Brazil, Georgia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Senegal & Somalia—the institution's international diversity now spans across 65+ countries. This accomplishment underscores PCTE's commitment to foster an inclusive learning environment that equips students for success in a connected world.

The addition of these new countries enriches the campus with diverse cultures, encouraging collaboration among students from various backgrounds and providing a global perspective. Additionally, faculty members from Brazil, Germany & Georgia bring a wealth of knowledge, cultural insights, and innovative teaching methods to improve the learning experience for students.

Harpreet K Kang, Dean, International Affairs, warmly welcomed the new students and faculty, highlighting PCTE's commitment to provide an exceptional education and skills that can help them in fighting their day-to-day life challenges. She highlighted, “Learning and living alongside people from around the globe helps PCTEians learn to avoid stereotyping and form more informed opinions. Get out of their comfort zones, and relate to new pedagogies, patterns of thinking, and sensitivities to people, who are different.”

She added, “It gives them a better understanding of international issues and foreign affairs. It provides opportunities for unique cross-cultural experiences, whether celebrating new holidays or sampling new cuisines. It forces students to step out of their comfort zones and confront different interpersonal and communication styles. This not only opens them to active listening and critical thinking, but also enables them to have wonderful personal and professional connections that will benefit them throughout their careers.”

PCTE takes pride in creating a global community where students interact with peers from different parts of the world, share ideas and gain a deeper understanding of the global complexities.
