H.E. Mr. Thomas Selby Pillay, High Commission of Seychelles & Ms. Nim Chuki Sherpa, Assistant, Embassy of Seychelles.

Ludhiana: PCTE Group of Institutes welcomed H.E. Mr. Thomas Selby Pillay, High Commission of Seychelles & Ms. Nim Chuki Sherpa, Assistant, Embassy of Seychelles to the Campus. His Excellency paid a courtesy visit to interact with the student.

At present 42 Ambassadors and Senior Officials of various countries have visited PCTE campus. We have students studying from 45 countries out of which 3 countries namely Seychelles, Chad and Swaziland are added this year.

The ambassador was delighted to visit the campus and was also interviewed by the students of journalism and mass communication where they discussed about the cultural similarities between India and Seychelles. His Excellency also discussed about the friendly relations between both the countries since independence. Besides this, the effect of covid was also discussed by the ambassador in sectors like tourism.

Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that PCTE has always welcomed various ambassadors and senior officials of various countries to interact with the students. Having senior delegates meeting and interacting with the students enables the youngsters to professionally present themselves and widens their knowledge base./August 12, 2021
