Chandigarh, July 13, 2025: The Centre for IAS & Other Competitive Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications for its IAS (Preliminary) Coaching Programme for August 2025.
Honorary Director of the Centre, Prof. Jyoti Rattan, informed that the last date for submission of application is July 23, 2025 (till 12:00 noon). An admission test will be conducted on July 24, 2025, followed by the display of the merit list on July 28, 2025. The classes are scheduled to begin from August 6, 2025. The programme will run for approximately four months, with classes tentatively scheduled from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
A total of 70 seats are available in the programme, with 54 for General, 11 for SC, and 5 for ST category candidates. Applicants must be graduates in any discipline or in their final year of graduation to be eligible for admission. The application form costs Rs 200 for General category and Rs 100 for SC/ST category candidates. The course fee is Rs 26,000 plus 18% GST for General category and Rs 13,000 plus 18% GST for SC/ST category.
The admission test will follow the pattern of the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination and will consist of 100 objective-type questions. The test will be conducted at the Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations, Panjab University.
