PCTE organise body building competition

Ludhiana, February 19, 2016: PCTE Group of Institutes organised Body Building Competition. The competition has been organised for the seventh consecutive year and has received a highly enthusiastic response. 20 students from various disciplines participated in the Physical Fitness Competition over the two days in multiple categories. The event involved Body lifting Competition and Body Building Competition for Boys.

The contest had a lot of spectators and the judges Mr Ranbir Singh Saini , Mr Pankaj Kalsi, Mr Bapin and Mr Varun from the Ludhiana were very happy to see that so many students in PCTE showed emphatic interest in Body Building.
In body building competition for boys, Dharminder Negi (BHMCT-1) stood first in Light Weight Category, Jasdeep Singh (BBA-3C) stood first in Middle Weight Category and Jatinder Singh (MBA IB 2 Yr) bagged the first position in Heavy Weight Category. Jatinder Singh has been entitled “Mr. PCTE". Mr. Kapil Prashar and Mr. Anirban Gupta event organizers said that we were astonished to see the zeal of participants “We organize this event to encourage health consciousness among the youth.”

In body lifting competition for boys Harminder Singh (BBA-1B) stood first in light weight category, Anmol (BBA-2C) stood first in middle weight category and Jatinder Singh (MBA IB 2 Yr) bagged the first position in heavy weight category. Mr. Vishal Sood and Mr.Harinder Pal Singh were event organizers.

Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes on the occasion said, “Body building is a rigorous discipline. It demands dedicated commitment and constant hard work on regular basis to win at a platform like this.We are elated to have best body builders from the city at PCTE.”
