PCTE-IHM Showcased Pathar Yogam Pakayam at it's 6th International Hospitality & Tourism Conclave & Conference

Ludhiana, March 8, 2019: The Institute of Hotel Management organized its 6th International Hospitality & Tourism Conclave & Conference with the aim to create a network where Hospitality professionals shared their knowledge and discussed the impact of online apps on Hospitality & Tourism Industry. The motive behind the conclave was to create a platform for learning from the accomplished people of the respective industry. Chef Manjit Singh Gill, President of the Indian Federation of culinary association & corporate executive chef of ITC hotels, was the honorable Chief Guest. Mr. Ajay Khanna, a hospitality consultant who heads 5th element hospitality, Ms. Gunjan Goela, Celebrity chef & food Historiographer & Gourmet, Ms. Kavita Bahuguna & Ms. Sangeeta Bahuguna, famous Food and Hotel Reviewer, owner of Dine Out Club, and many more graced the occasion with their presences. Pathar Yogam Pakayam was showcased by using slow cooking methods with the help of mud vessels and Bamboo sticks, which is considered to be a healthy way of cooking food and brings out the delicious flavors in the food. Various mouth watering dishes were displayed including Shorba of Sarso ka Saag, Banspora Biryani i.e. Biryani cooked in Bamboos, Broccoli Halwa, Mutton Korma, Matsya Poram, Dalcha, Litti, Mutton Halwa etc. Conclave also witnessed the award giving ceremony for best Hospitality students among all the four batches of Hotel Management, where, two students namely Mr. Simran Taneja among boys & Ms. Srishti Guglani among girls were awarded for their excellent performance as The Best Hospitality students for the year 2019. Mr.Anirban Gupta, Dean IHM, PCTE said the conclave was a great platform for the students to learn a lot of new things under one roof by professionals and further added by saying that events like these help the students to get great exposure and help them to develop their overall personality. Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the entire team of hotel management and tourism department on successfully executing the 6th IHTCC and said “It’s great to gather people from Industry with common interests and background, with the purpose of seeking healthy discussions and their valuable inputs on the current status of the Industry.”
