PCTE Hosts Day 2 of 14th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research

Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) Group of Institutes is hosting the 14th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR 2026) under the theme “Human-Centric Approaches to Innovation, Sustainability and Growth.” The conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry experts and students from India and abroad for discussions on interdisciplinary innovation and sustainable development.

Ludhiana, March 10, 2026: Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) Group of Institutes is hosting the 14th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR 2026) under the theme “Human-Centric Approaches to Innovation, Sustainability and Growth.” The conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry experts and students from India and abroad for discussions on interdisciplinary innovation and sustainable development.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment. The occasion was graced by Dr. K. N. S. Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes, and Harpreet K. Kang, Dean International Affairs, along with esteemed guests and international delegates including Dr. Ahliddin Ibodullozoda, Rector of Tajik State Pedagogical University; Azamatzoda Ghairatsho, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy; and Mubirkhoni Muminpur, Head of the Department of International Relations, Tajik State Pedagogical University.
Dr. Naresh Sachdev introduced the conference theme and highlighted the role of research and innovation in addressing emerging global issues. The Abstract Book of the conference was formally released, marking the beginning of the academic sessions.
During the sessions, discussions focused on diverse topics including human-centric innovation, sustainable industrial growth, sustainable tourism practices, ethical journalism, green marketing strategies, ESG-driven finance, and advancements in medical laboratory sciences, highlighting the importance of human-centric approaches to innovation and sustainable growth.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ahliddin Ibodullozoda, Rector of Tajik State Pedagogical University, emphasised the importance of global academic partnerships and interdisciplinary research in addressing contemporary challenges.
Mr. Amit Jain, Managing Director of Shingora Textiles, shared industry perspectives on innovation and sustainability.
International expert Prof. Dr. E. Ozan Aksoz from the Faculty of Tourism, Turkiye, highlighted the role of tourism and cultural exchange in promoting sustainable development.
Other distinguished speakers included Dr. Pardeep Kumar from Chandigarh University, Dr. Rajiv Khosla from Amity University, Dr. Rajesh Verma, Senior Dean at Mittal School of Business, and Mr. Nitin Gupta, Chief Content Officer at Chaupal, who shared insights on emerging trends in academia, technology, management and digital media.
The guests were honoured during the ceremony for their contributions to academia and industry. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rajpreet Singh Chhatwal, acknowledging the presence of speakers, delegates and participants.
As Day 2 concluded, participants and organisers eagerly looked forward to Day 3 of the 14th International Conference at PCTE, which continues to promote knowledge exchange, innovative ideas, and meaningful collaboration among researchers, academicians, and industry experts.
