Ludhiana, March 11, 2026: PCTE Group of Institutes successfully concluded the 14th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR 2026), bringing together academicians, researchers, industry experts, and students from India and abroad to engage in meaningful discussions on innovation, sustainability, and interdisciplinary research.
The conference commenced with an inaugural session at Crimson Hall, where distinguished guests and delegates were warmly welcomed by the organising team. The ceremony began with the traditional lamp-lighting ritual, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. During the session, Dr. S. K. Gandhi, Director, PCTE Institute of Engineering and Technology, delivered the welcome address and introduced the theme of the conference.
A significant highlight of the inaugural ceremony was the release of the Conference Abstract Book by the esteemed dignitaries. The session also featured insightful keynote addresses by  Ranjodh Singh, Sarabjit Singh Grewal, and Dr. Paramveer Singh, who shared valuable perspectives on innovation, industry collaboration, and the evolving landscape of multidisciplinary research.
Throughout the conference, scholars presented research papers across a wide range of disciplines including pharmaceutical sciences, business management, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and emerging technologies. The technical sessions provided a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, critical discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration among participants.
The concluding day celebrated academic excellence, with awards presented to outstanding presenters and contributors in recognition of their innovative research and scholarly achievements.
The conference concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Kapil Prashar, Dean, CSE, PCTE, who expressed gratitude to the keynote speakers, delegates, organising committee members, and participants for their valuable contributions. The organisers reaffirmed PCTE’s commitment to promoting research, innovation, and academic excellence through international academic platforms.
