PCM S.D. College for Women Plants Saplings to Mark the Birth Anniversary of Surjit Patar
The Department of Punjabi of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar planted saplings at Sri Guru Nanak Dev District Library to commemorate the birth anniversary of Padma Dr. Surjit Patar. Students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm.

Jalandhar, February 14, 2026: The Department of Punjabi of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar planted saplings at Sri Guru Nanak Dev District Library to commemorate the birth anniversary of Padma Dr. Surjit Patar. Students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm.
The objective of this initiative was to highlight the importance of libraries in connecting students with the Punjabi language and literature. On this occasion, along with the Department of Punjabi, Harpreet Kaur (Library In-charge), Sandeep Kumar (Junior Assistant), the entire library staff and students were present. The Department of Punjabi also presented books to the library.
