The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a one-day online workshop titled “Income Tax Portal Navigation: Empowering Learners with E-Filing Skills” on 7th April 2025. This insightful session was designed to impart both practical and theoretical knowledge to students and faculty members, helping them understand the nuances of e-filing and navigate the Income Tax portal with ease and confidence.

Jalandhar, May 8, 2025: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a one-day online workshop titled “Income Tax Portal Navigation: Empowering Learners with E-Filing Skills” on 7th April 2025. This insightful session was designed to impart both practical and theoretical knowledge to students and faculty members, helping them understand the nuances of e-filing and navigate the Income Tax portal with ease and confidence.
The workshop was conducted by CA Gurpreet Kaur, a proud alumna of the college and a distinguished Chartered Accountant holding multiple qualifications including B.Com, FCA, DISA (ICAI), and CCA (ICAI). With her vast experience and hands-on approach, she conducted a live demonstration of the Income Tax portal. She meticulously guided the participants through the entire process of filing income tax returns, especially for individual taxpayers, simplifying the complex procedures with clarity and precision.
The session commenced with a warm welcome and address by IQAC Coordinator Captain Priya Mahajan, who introduced the resource person and fondly recalled her as an all-rounder student of the college. The workshop turned out to be highly interactive and engaging, with faculty members enthusiastically asking numerous queries and participants actively responding throughout the session. The live demonstration, along with real-time explanations, gave learners a hands-on experience of digital tax filing, making it a truly enriching and practical learning opportunity.
