PCM SD College for Women bids adieu to final year students at Valedictory Tathastu-2026'
PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar bid a warm adieu to the final year students with great enthusiasm.
Jalandhar, April 27, 2026: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar bid a warm adieu to the final year students with great enthusiasm.
The chief guest of the day was Principal Dr.Pooja Prashar. The event was an absolute fiesta devoted to the time spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments.
Rajni of M.Com Semester IV delivered her address expressing gratitude to the mentors and teachers for their invaluable contribution in making their college journey a memorable one.
The students put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs and pulsating music that rocked the auditorium. Various games were also held for the students.
A modeling competition took place where Sunakshi of B.Com F.S. Semester VI was the second runners up and Rajni of M.Com Semester VI was the first runners up. Jiya of B.Com Semester VI was crowned as Miss SD 2026.
The title of Audience’s Favourite was awarded to Jiya of B.Com Semester VI. The title of Stylish Strands was given to Rose of BSc FD Semester VI. The title of Fashion Finesse was given to Kashish of B.Voc Cosmetology Semester VI. The Star of the Show title was bagged by Mamta of B.Com Semester VI while the title of Unique Performer was given to Neha of B.Com Semester VI. Garima of B.Com Semester VI was awarded the title of Best Smile.
Divpriya of M.Sc Fashion Designing Semester II shared her experience with the seniors highlighting their contributions and learning experience they received so that the juniors too follow their foot prints. The dedication and efforts taken by the seniors in every activity of the college was recalled during her speech.
The students danced to their heart’s content. Many were seen clicking pictures of friends and teachers, capturing memories of college forever.
The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Madam Principal. She encouraged students to proceed boldly with goals and courage in their hearts. She also appreciated their efforts for enthusiastically participating in various college activities and raising the bar of perfection and wished them luck to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the college motto of 'Do Your Job Well'.
President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the Management and the Principal of the college wished best of luck to the outgoing students and appreciated the Incharges of the event, Rajni Kapoor and Dr. Divya Budhia Gupta.
The stage was skillfully conducted by Shikha Puri, Jasmeen, student of B.Com Semester IV, Divpriya, student of MSc Fashion Designing Semester II, Dipanshi of M.Com Semester II and Manu of B.A. B.Ed Semester IV.
The entire event was successfully organised by the efforts of Central Association.
