PCM S.D. College Cadets Shine Bright at CATC-42 with All-Round Performance
Jalandhar Cantt witnessed a remarkable display of discipline, talent, and leadership as the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-42) was successfully organized under the dynamic leadership of Colonel R. S. Lehal, Commanding Officer, 2 Punjab Girls Battalion, from 15th to 24th December at B. D. Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt.
Jalandhar, December 29, 2025: Jalandhar Cantt witnessed a remarkable display of discipline, talent, and leadership as the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-42) was successfully organized under the dynamic leadership of Colonel R. S. Lehal, Commanding Officer, 2 Punjab Girls Battalion, from 15th to 24th December at B. D. Arya College, Jalandhar Cantt.
A contingent of 38 NCC cadets from PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar actively participated in the camp along with their Associate NCC Officer Captain Priya Mahajan, who was entrusted with the prestigious responsibility of Camp Adjutant. Her efficient coordination and motivating leadership played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth conduct of camp activities.
Demonstrating exemplary leadership among cadets, Senior Under Officer Komal was appointed as Camp Senior, while Under Officer Anjali served as Company Senior.
The cadets of PCM S.D.College delivered an exceptional performance, bringing immense pride to the institution by securing first position in Group Dance, Solo Dance, Painting, Quiz, Group Song, Piloting, and Mime in the Senior Group category.
Adding to the medal tally, Under Officer Anjali clinched Gold Medal in Drill, while Corporal Riya secured Silver Medal, reflecting their rigorous training and dedication.
In a moment of great honour, the cadets were also part of the Guard Squad that presented a Guard of Honour to Brigadier A. K. Bhardwaj, Group Commander, Jalandhar Group, showcasing their impeccable discipline and ceremonial precision.
Commending the outstanding achievements, Colonel R. S. Lehal appreciated the hard work, discipline, and enthusiasm of the cadets and lauded the committed guidance of ANO Captain Priya Mahajan.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar extended heartfelt congratulations to the cadets for their stellar performance and applauded Captain Priya Mahajan for her relentless efforts in guiding, motivating, and nurturing the cadets.
The achievements at CATC-42 stand as a testimony to PCM SD College for Women’s strong commitment to holistic education, leadership development, and nation-building through NCC.
