PAU’s Community Science College welcomes new entrants

Ludhiana, December 7, 2023: A fresher’s party was organised by the Home Science Association (HSA), College of Community Science, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), for the newly admitted students of B.Sc (Hons.) Community Science and B.Sc (Hons.) Nutrition and Dietetics.
Dr Kiran Bains, Dean, College of Community Science, encouraged the students to follow three mantras of discipline, respectfulness and integrity in their lives to be successful. The event included a range of performances marvellously showcased by the students of the senior batches. Modelling contest was the most attractive part of the entire function, where students of the first year of the College participated.
The HSA Advisors Dr Surabhi Mahajan and Dr Renuka Aggarwal, while welcoming the chief guest, heads of various departments, faculty, students and new entrants, said that the participation of students in such events was crucial for personality development besides academics.
Darshpreet Kaur was adjudged as Ms Fresher followed by Gurleen Kaur as the first runner-up and Khushpreet as the second runner-up.
Jaskirat Singh won the title of Mr Fresher.
