It is worth mentioning that the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research is a collaborative effort between the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), an autonomous body under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the Government of India, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The scheme aims to inspire and support talented scholars to engage in industry-relevant research. Under this initiative, full-time PhD scholars receive double the regular stipend, with one-half provided by the government and the other by a partner company collaborating on the research project. This remarkable opportunity spans four years, allowing these scholars to delve deep into their research with robust financial support.
