Panjab University Releases CDOE Magazines and Newsletter
Prof. Y. P. Verma, Registrar, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, released the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) Magazines for the academic sessions 2022-23 & 2023-24 and 2024-25 & 2025-26, along with the CDOE Newsletter for July 2023 to June 2026.
Chandigarh, June 17, 2026: Prof. Y. P. Verma, Registrar, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, released the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) Magazines for the academic sessions 2022-23 & 2023-24 and 2024-25 & 2025-26, along with the CDOE Newsletter for July 2023 to June 2026.
The release ceremony was attended by Prof. Harsh Gandhar, Director, CDOE, faculty members and administrative officials of the Centre. The publications will be made available online through the CDOE website. The compendium captures the key initiatives taken during the three year period Jully 2023-June 2026 and records numerous routine academic, administrative, student-support, and outreach activities carried out by CDOE, serving as a valuable repository of the Centre’s accomplishments and ongoing endeavors.
During his visit to the CDOE E-Content Studio, Prof. Verma appreciated the addition of new tools and facilities aimed at strengthening online learning resources and enhancing the Centre’s digital outreach initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Verma congratulated the Director, faculty members, editorial team and printing staff for their efforts in bringing out the publications. He appreciated the CDOE newsletter and suggested to print it as coffee table book and place at important places including VC office lobby. “The magazine reflects the creativity, research, and achievements of CDOE students and faculty. It serves as a vibrant record of the institution’s academic and cultural life,” he stated.
Prof. Harsh Gandhar thanked the Registrar for his encouragement and support and reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation and learner-centric education.
