Chandigarh, August 5, 2026: Panjab University, Chandigarh organised a Plantation Drive, in collaboration with the Horticulture Division at Justice Teja Singh Samundari Hall, Boys Hostel No. 6.
Dena Students Welfare (DSW), Prof. Yogesh Kumar Rawal; Dean Students Welfare (Women), Prof. Namita Gupta and Associate Dean Students Welfare (ADSW), Prof. Kashmir Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest. They appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts by planting and nurturing trees for a greener and more sustainable future.
Faculty members, staff, and residents enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive. The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation and raise awareness about the importance of planting and preserving trees.
