Chandigarh, March 11, 2026: After the successful conduct of the Industry–Academia Meet, Central Placement Cell, Panjab University, initiated the campus placement drives.
The Central Placement Cell, Panjab University, today conducted a placement drive for Marsh Consulting Pvt. Ltd. at the Department of Statistics. The drive was organised for the post of Actuarial Analyst for students of the Department of Statistics, Economics, and UBS.
50 students participated in the drive, with 20 clearing the test and moving to the interview stage.
The Marsh team included Vikram Dhingra (Director Actuarial), Swastika Thapa (Manager Actuarial), Nitin Bhardwaj (Associate Director Actuarial), and Niridhi Bhasin (Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition).
Prof. Meena Sharma welcomed the officials and briefed students about Marsh, highlighting its presence in India and globally, with over 25,000 employees across 44 countries and operations in 130+ countries.
The event was coordinated by Harvinder Singh, Training & Placement Officer, Department of Statistics.
