PU Students of Centre for Public Health celebrating World AIDS Day.

Chandigarh, December 2, 2016: The students of Centre for Public Health, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh celebrated World AIDS Day at the PU Student’s Centre.
The students showed solidarity and support to people who are infected with HIV by wearing a red ribbon on Thursday. Badges of logo were also distributed on the occasion. The awareness was spread among students and visitors at student centre by displaying the poster on AIDS and discussion.
Coordinator, Centre for Public Health, PU, Dr Suman Mor said that world has committed to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals. She emphasised that there is still a vital need to increase awareness and improve education as people do not know how to protect themselves.
