Noida, October 25, 2025:  Noida International University (NIU) successfully hosted the International Conference on AI-Driven Innovation for Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 (ICADIS-2025) in hybrid mode, drawing international experts, industry leaders, and academicians to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence across industries and society.

The two-day event started with the lighting of the Lamp and Saraswati–Ganesh Vandana at the Seminar Hall, SBM Block, NIU.

AI-Driven Innovation for Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 signifies more than a technological leap—it marks the fusion of cyber-physical systems, IoT, machine learning, robotics, and ethical intelligence into sustainable, human-centered ecosystems, which aligns with UNSDG and Viksit Bharat@2047. While the Industry 4.0 revolutionized production through automation, smart factories, and predictive analytics, Society 5.0 envisions a future that transcends efficiency—where technology nurtures inclusivity, resilience, and environmental balance.

Globally, the Industry 4.0 market stood at USD 164.7 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 570.5 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 14.44%. Simultaneously, the AI and ML segment under Industry 5.0 is expected to expand from USD 8.5 trillion in 2024 to USD 44.1 trillion by 2030, signaling a 32% CAGR. Conference Chair and Dean of Academic Prof. (Dr.) Tanya Singh said AI is poised to boost global GDP by up to 13% and trade by nearly 40% by 2040.
