Noida, November 14, 2025: The School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) of Noida International University (NIU) organized Youth Music and Beatswap. In the presence of over 3000 students. YMCI Producer Battle Fest is a distinctive music production competition designed to celebrate creativity, rhythm, and youth innovation and showcase originally produced beats and tracks.
Dr. Vikram Singh, Chancellor, Noida International University, said, “NIU takes pride in nurturing platforms that celebrate youth innovation and artistic excellence. Events like the YMCI Producer Battle Fest embody our vision of empowering students through exposure to real-world talent and creative opportunities.”
Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Vice-Chancellor, Noida International University, emphasized the importance of academic-industry collaboration, noting, “SJMC has once again demonstrated its commitment to integrating academics with professional experience. Such initiatives ignite originality and confidence among students, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice.”
Ketki Pandit, Film Producer, graced the occasion as a special guest. Her presence and interaction with the students offered invaluable insights into the creative processes that drive India’s entertainment industry.
The event brought together some of the country’s most talented music producers, including Radha Bhatt (Bollywood actress), and Sid Sharma (Bollywood actor), Raj Mehta, Arun Singh Chaudhary, Ashish Jha, Adam, Ghaatak, and CrackenBeats, who captivated a live audience of over 3,000 students with their original beats and dynamic performances. This unique platform provided budding producers from the Delhi NCR region. The opportunity to showcase musical prowess and engage directly with established industry professionals.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Dr. Aarfa Rajput, Dean, SJMC, expressed heartfelt appreciation to all participants and guests, saying,
