Rohtak, March 29, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has clarified that the supply of LPG for domestic consumers in the district is fully normal and adequate, and there is no shortage of gas.
He appealed to citizens to avoid panic booking and refrain from unnecessary accumulation of LPG cylinders, stating that such practices create avoidable pressure on the supply system and inconvenience other consumers.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that strict legal action will be taken against individuals involved in hoarding, black marketing or spreading rumours regarding LPG, petrol or diesel availability.
He informed that LPG cylinders are being supplied as per norms, with one refill provided after a gap of 25 days per household, ensuring equitable distribution among all consumers.
Reassuring the public, he urged residents to remain calm, rely on verified information and purchase LPG only as per requirement, so that smooth supply is maintained across the district.
