Newborn Week concludes at DMCH

Ludhiana, November 21, 2023: As part of Newborn week  which was celebrated from 15th to 21st November  at DMCH, Department of Pediatrics conducted a Declamation contest  today  for Post Graduate students of Department of Pediatrics in which twenty one PG students were participated.

The declamation contest was organized by Dr  Puneet A Pooni  Professor & Head Department of  Paediatrics, Dr G S Dhooria professor Department of Pediatrics  and Dr Karambir Singh Gill Assistant Professor Department of Paediatrics.

Bipin Gupta, Secretary DMCH Managing Society appreciated the efforts of Department of Pediatrics for organising this   declamation contest.

Dr  Puneet A Pooni  Professor & Head Department of  Paediatrics stressed on   the need for  nurturing newborn community facility engagement theme of the year.

Dr Karambir Gill (Treasurer NNF, Punjab) said that community healthcare  is a vital link between families and medical professional medical assistance.

At the end of the session, prizes were given to the winners by the judges which includes Dr Puneet A Pooni , Dr GS Dhooria, and Dr Karambir Gill.1st prize bagged by Dr Ritvik Garg, 2nd Prize bagged by Dr Bushra, 3rd prize awarded to Dr Himanshi and consolation prize was given to Dr Hriday.
