MULTI-MEDIA DRIVE TO SHOWCASE ACHIEVEMENTS OF GOVERNMENT GETTING GOOD RESPONSE IN SAHNEWAL CONSTITUENCY

Bhagpur (Ludhiana), August 29, 2016: The Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janta Party led Punjab Government's initiative ‘Ik Shaam Apni Sarkar De Naal’- a unique programme to showcase the achievements of last nine years of the state government is getting good response in different villages of Sahnewal constituency. All these programmes are being organised under the supervision of Sahnewal MLA and Punjab Irrigation Minister Mr Sharanjit Singh Dhillon and his team.
One such programme was organised at village Bhagpur, which is also the ancestral village of Mr Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, last evening, which was attended by a large number of people, mostly youth.
Mr Sharanjit Singh Dhillon informed that informed that these shows have been started with the aim to bring the government more closer to the people and this innovative project would play a proactive role by make general public aware about the people friendly initiatives, policies and programmes of the SAD-BJP led Punjab government.
Mr Dhillon said that in the last nine years, the SAD-BJP government has carried several development oriented works in the state, besides several welfare schemes have been started. He said that all round attention has been paid towards promotion of Industrial development, revival of agriculture sector, giant strides in renewable energy sector, governance reforms, massive infrastructure creation, power plants, airports, schools, colleges, hospitals, stadiums, skilled development centres, creation of unparallel road network , Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna, Mukhmatri Tirath Darshan Yatra, firm stand on SYL issue, unprecedented steps to perpetuate the glorious cultural heritage of the state by constructing world class memorials and much more has been done in the state.
It is pertinent to mention that these vans have been installed with 6 ft high and 8 ft wide LED screens and are highlighting the achievements of the SAD-BJP government. Each Publicity Van is organising a three-hour long show showcasing 'short films' on various welfare schemes and the achievements of the government in one village daily. These vans are getting good response as a large number of people gather and are made aware about various social welfare schemes so that the maximum number of deserving people can be taken under their ambit.
While providing details about various welfare schemes and projects of the Punjab government, Mr Sharanjit Singh Dhillon stated that every Punjabi is happy with people friendly schemes of the state government. He said that every Punjabi feels proud about “Saada Punjab Saadi Shaan, Saanu Punjabi Hon Te Maan”. He said that the complete capsule includes film "Chaar Sahibzade" as well as development oriented video clips. He said that the audience is also served refreshments during the campaign. Besides, literature on the major achievements of the government is also distributed.
