LoA signed between PU and Bisleri International

Panjab University and Bottles for Change programme, CSR, Bisleri International Pvt Ltd. have signed a Letter of Association (LoA) today The signing of LoA is to inculcate civic sense among students and educate on responsible disposal of plastics for recycling from the campuses to achieve Zero Plastic to landfill.

Chandigarh, September 29, 2023: Panjab University and Bottles for Change programme, CSR, Bisleri International Pvt Ltd. have signed a Letter of Association (LoA) today The signing of LoA is to inculcate civic sense among students and educate on responsible disposal of plastics for recycling from the campuses to achieve Zero Plastic to landfill.
 
 
Angelo George, Chief Executive Officer, Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd in his brief presentation shared the details of the programme. He stated that as Panjab University is one of the oldest and prestigious universities of India, it’s role in such initiatives will have a larger impact on society in general.
 

Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University expressed her pleasure at the collaboration between the two institutions. She stressed the importance of such partnerships in the near future. She assured that Panjab University will leave no stone unturned to make PU plastic waste free. 
 

Prof. Sukhbir Kaur shared the purpose of the MoU and expressed her gratitude towards Angelo George, Chief Executive Officer, Bisleri International Pvt Ltd for the MoU between the Bisleri International and Panjab University.
 

The LoA was signed by Angelo George, Chief Executive Officer, Bisleri International Pvt Ltd and Prof Y.P. Verma, Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
 

Prof. Harsh Nayyar, Director Research and Developmental Cell, Prof. Sukhbir Kaur, Prof. Jatinder Grover, Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Amrit Pal Toor, Dean Engineering, Prof. Anju Suri, Dean Arts, Dr. Parveen Goyal, NSS Program Coordinator and Program officers, Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Chairperson, Social work, Prof. Namita Gupta, Director, Public Relations and other faculty members were present on the occasion. It was followed by a session to sensitize students in the Department of Chemistry.
