Rohtak, March 17, 2026:  Underscoring the significance of science communication, highlighting the crucial role of communication skills in achieving career objectives, and emphasizing the importance of empathetic dialogue, Sunit Mukherjee— the eminent motivational speaker and a faculty member in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication—delivered a special lecture on the topic "Communication Skills for Career Goals" at the Department of Microbiology, MDU.

In his inspiring address, Sunit Mukherjee said that students must cultivate the art of translating scientific research into language accessible to the common person and conveying it effectively to society. He noted that various digital media platforms can be utilized not only for science communication but also for personal and professional branding. He urged students to engage with digital media proficiency, AI tools, and digital storytelling, sharing various contemporary examples throughout his presentation.

Earlier, Dr. Rajiv Kumar Kapoor provided an overview of the lecture. HOD Dr. Pooja Suneja, explained that the lecture was organized with the specific objective of providing career guidance. Dr. Rajiv Kumar Kapoor proposed the vote of thanks.
