Motivational activity in form of Nukkad Natak on `Maa Mainu Tagore Bana Da’

Jalandhar: Department of B.A B.Ed  in collaboration with NSS wing of PCM. S.  D College for Women, Jalandhar  organized a Nukkad Natak, 'Maa Mainu Tagore Bana Da'was presented to the students explaining the importance of education.  The play depicted the struggling story of a young boy who wanted to become a writer like Tagore but fails due to adverse circumstances.  
The main objective of the play was to motivate the students to engage with studies more and more while making them aware of the importance of education.  This presentation was done by Lucky  Gupta who is a solo actor from Jammu.  Along with this, the students were also made aware about the drug problem.  The students were informed that drugs are taking hold of the present youth generation and spoiling their future.  Therefore, we should try to prevent this while understanding our duties towards the society.  

On this occasion, the President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada and the worthy Principal  of the college Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the  presentation  and  encouraged all the students to keep participating in these kind of activities. She also appreciated the Departments for organizing the Natak.  

The program was conducted by N SS In-charges Manmeet Kaur, Sunita Bhalla, Akwinder Kaur, Anju Bala and Triptjit  Kaur and Ritu Gill of Department of B.A.BEd.
