The camp was conducted by the KMV Red Ribbon Club and Eco Club under the aegis of the Department of Student Welfare, reflecting the institution’s commitment to social service and community engagement.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, who appreciated the noble spirit of the young donors. She emphasised that blood donation is one of the highest forms of humanitarian service and plays a crucial role in saving lives. Highlighting the importance of such initiatives, she noted that they help inculcate a strong sense of social responsibility and empathy among students, aligning with the institution’s vision of holistic development and community outreach.
During the camp, a total of 87 units of blood were collected, with a significant number of students participating as first-time donors.
