Max Hospital Vaishali organizes Ortho Walkathon

Ghaziabad, August 22, 2017: In order to raise awareness about the Total Knee Replacement Max Super specialty Hospital Vaishali organized an ‘Ortho Walkathon’ and also launched Knee Clinic on Sunday 20th August at their campus. The walk started at 8 AM from Max Super Specialty Hospital, Vaishali where Patients who had undergone Total Knee Replacement participated in the Walkathon and walked around for 1km to demonstrate the success of Knee Replacement. The walk was led by more than 100 patients who had undergone the Knee replacement surgery or critical surgeries and their families, Team of Doctors, and hospital Staff. Max Hospital Vaishali has created a centre of excellence of Orthopedics and joint replacement which is the biggest centre of ortho in Ghaziabad. It is divided into 4 sections – Ortho spine, ortho trauma, joint replacement and sports injury. The department is backed by high end OT and technology. At the event Max hospital also launched “Knee Clinic” which would be operational on every 2nd Saturday between 10am-1pm wherein consultation by joint replacement specialists and both knees’ XRAY will be provided for 500Rs only till September.
