Jalandhar, January 28, 2015: Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari organised a Poetry Recitation Competition for the students of Grade I on January 28, 2015. Poetry is the expression of the soul and poem recitation is an art. But this time the poetry recitation had a twist, the theme for the day was ‘Mathematics’. It was a part of the innovatively designed activity- Math Mania. The children recited very interesting poems and some of them had penned the poems themselves also.  The special invitees for the occasion were the parents of the selected participants. The judges for the day were Abhiruchi from Cambridge International Girls School and Anamika from Cambridge Foundation School. The participants’ level of confidence was amazing and it was a delight to watch these tiny wonders express themselves. Everyone was spell bound by the flawless performances of the children. Choosing the winners was not an easy task for the judges.

The best five students of the competition were Aanya Duggal, Dhun Kundra, Ryan Sachdeva, Annahat Kochhar, Ranika Singh.

Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Directors Learning Wings Dr Brijesh and Nitin Kohli, Director CIS J K Kohli, Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjoth Dhillon also appreciated the children for giving their best shot.
