Manipal Hospital, Yeshwanthpur appoints renowned neurologist Dr. Avinash Kulkarni

Bangalore: Manipal Hospital, Yeswanthpur is pleased to announce the adjoin of Dr. Avinash Kulkarni, a highly esteemed Neurologist. Dr. Avinash specializes in Stroke, Headache Disorders, Sleep-Related Disorders, Epilepsy, Neuropathies, Muscle Diseases, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia (Memory-Related Diseases), Parkinson’s Disease, and related movement disorders. Besides his expertise in general neurology, he demonstrates a strong interest in Neurocritical Care, Electrophysiology, Sleep Medicine, and Neurorehabilitation. 

Before joining Manipal Hospital, Dr. Avinash was working as a Consultant Physician with the Government of Karnataka. Additionally, he gained valuable experience as a trainee in DM Neurology at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology in Trivandrum, and as a trainee in MD General Medicine at Rajasthan University of Health Sciences in Jaipur.

Dr. Avinash Kulkarni completed his MBBS from Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Raichur, Karnataka. He then completed his MD in General Medicine at RNT Medical College, Udaipur, Rajasthan (2016-2019). Continuing his academic journey, he pursued a DM in Neurology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He received the Best Paper Award for his original research on sleep-related issues in stroke survivors at the National Stroke Conference 2023. Additionally, he has presented numerous papers at national conferences.
