Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Receive Scholarships from Jatt Sikh Council

Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, continues its commitment to supporting needy and meritorious students by not only providing scholarships through institutional funds but also encouraging various non-governmental organizations to step forward for the same noble cause. Under this initiative, The Jatt Sikh Council (Regd.) awarded scholarships worth ₹80,000 to 10 deserving students from different institutions of Lyallpur Khalsa College. Among these beneficiaries, eight students were affected by recent floods, while two students were recognized for their exceptional academic performance.

Jalandhar, December 12, 2025: Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, continues its commitment to supporting needy and meritorious students by not only providing scholarships through institutional funds but also encouraging various non-governmental organizations to step forward for the same noble cause. Under this initiative, The Jatt Sikh Council (Regd.) awarded scholarships worth ₹80,000 to 10 deserving students from different institutions of Lyallpur Khalsa College. Among these beneficiaries, eight students were affected by recent floods, while two students were recognized for their exceptional academic performance.
The scholarship amount of ₹80,000 was jointly presented by Dr. H. S. Mann (President, Jatt Sikh Council), Jaspal Singh Waraich (Joint Secretary, College Governing Council), Sukhbahar Singh (Secretary, Jatt Sikh Council), Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Jagwinder Kaur Deol (Member, Jatt Sikh Governing Council) and Sukhwinder Singh Lali (Founder Member, Jatt Sikh Council).
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur praised the commendable initiative of The Jatt Sikh Council. She stated that such generous contributions not only provide crucial financial support to needy students but also inspire them to continue their education with confidence and instill strong human values. She added that helping deserving students in this manner is one of the greatest services that boosts their morale and secures their future.
It is noteworthy that The Jatt Sikh Council has been offering scholarships to students of the college for many years. The council members reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting meritorious and needy students in the future as well.
