Lyallpur Khalsa College Students Participated in Cyclothon-Yudh Nashea Virudh
Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar provides ample opportunities to its students to contribute in social welfare activities. In this light, NSS volunteers of the college participated in the Cyclothon- campaign against drug abuse organized by District Administration.

Jalandhar, April 21, 2026: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar provides ample opportunities to its students to contribute in social welfare activities. In this light, NSS volunteers of the college participated in the Cyclothon- campaign against drug abuse organized by District Administration.
Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu appreciated the volunteers for their efforts. He said that participation in such campaigns not only makes the society aware but also determines the participants against the menace of drugs. He was optimistic that the youth will understand the negative impact of drugs on body and mind and reverse the trend of drug usage.
NSS Chief Program Officer, Prof. Satpal Singh informed that 25 NSS volunteers participated in this district level cyclothon.
During the event, they pledged not to take drugs and motivated others also not to take drugs. NSS volunteers thanked district administration for organizing the event and were grateful to the President, College Governing Council, Principal and NSS unit of the college for providing such opportunities.
