Jalandhar, October 25, 2025: The P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, organized “SPARKLES 2025”, an Orientation-cum-Welcome Party for first-semester students, marking the beginning of the new academic session with warmth and enthusiasm.

True to the college’s commitment to the all-round development of its students, the event aimed to familiarize newcomers with the academic, cultural, and social environment of the institution. Principal Dr. Navdeep Kaur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her inspiring address, she emphasized that education at Lyallpur Khalsa College focuses not only on academic excellence but also on the holistic growth and personal development of students. She urged the new entrants to make full use of the diverse opportunities available at the college.

A vibrant cultural program followed, featuring lively performances by senior students who welcomed their juniors with songs, dances, and energetic stage presentations. The students were also introduced to various aspects of the college, including its academic structure, co-curricular initiatives, and student welfare activities.

Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Head of the Department, motivated the students to set clear goals and work diligently to achieve them. The Deans and In-charges of various departments and clubs provided detailed insights into college programs and opportunities.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Raminder Kaur Bhatia proposed a vote of thanks. On this occasion, Prof. Amita Shahid, Prof. Ravneet Bains, Prof. Vivek Mahajan, Dr. Ubique Bedi, Dr. Navdeep Kumar, Prof. Manish Goel, Dr. Jyoti Vohra, Prof. Vineet Gupta, Prof. Keeratpreet Kaur, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, and other faculty members were also present.
