Chandigarh, September 13, 2023: Department of Chemistry in collaboration with Central Placement Cell, Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted the lecture for Sensitizing students about the placement avenues on 11th September.
Prof. Sonal Singhal, Chairperson Department of Chemistry welcomed the speaker Padma Shri Prof. R. C. Sobti, Professor (Emeritus), Department of Biotechnology, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Ex-Vice Chancellor, BBAU, Lucknow, Ph.D., DSC, FNASC, FZS, FNAAS, FAMS, FPAS, FSCG, FNA, as Guest speaker. Prof. Meena Sharma, Director, Central Placement Cell sensitized the students about the functioning of PU-Placement Cell.
The faculty members, Research Scholar, UG and PG students (around 400 students) from the Chemistry department attended the lecture with great enthusiasm.
In addition first placement drive was organized for the students in which Pramod, Mind harmonics interacted with the students and discussed about the “Earn while learn” opportunities.
The lecture was wrapped up with the concluding remarks and vote of thanks presented by Dr. Varinder Kaur, organizer Placement Cell, Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
